Technologies for Anonymous Web Browsing

An IP or internet protocol address functions as a unique identifier of a computer or device within a network. People want to change or conceal their IP address for various reasons, but in many instances, it is done for security and privacy purposes. Many people also alter their IP address to avoid online restrictions.

Some ISPs give you a static IP address and to change this you have to contact your provider and request them to give you a new one. Most internet providers’ work with dynamic IP addresses, you can make use of different tools to release and renew the address. You can also make use of proxy servers and virtual private networks to provide you anonymity and security while surfing the web.
A VPN is a type of networking service that allows two or more computers to communicate with each other over a public channel, usually the internet. Instead of making use of leased lines, VPNs use virtual connections routed through the internet from the provider to the end users. These systems make use of encryption and other security solutions to make sure that only authorized users can access the network and that the data shared in the network can’t be intercepted.
The other method is to use proxy servers, these are often free services. These are websites which allow the user to browse anonymously by using the IP address of the free proxy servers. Web based proxy servers are websites which can be used by a valid internet connection. These are also very simple to use that is the reason these are most used ones. You just have to open the proxy server site (for example Facebook Proxy for School) and enter the URL of desired website in its address box, and the websites will be opened using the IP address of the proxy server and your IP address will be hidden.

I can tell you about a good proxy, I prefer to use Unblockproxy.pk for anonymous browsing.
