Music in Different Areas of Pashto, Punjabi and Indian

People all around the world like to listen to music, people in different regions have different tastes, like Pashto music is commonly found in Afghanistan, part of Pakistan and among the Pashtun Diaspora around the world. It is mainly enjoyed or listened to in the Pashtun regions of Afghanistan as well as in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), and Balochistan in neighboring Pakistan. The major center of Pashto music in Pakistan is Peshawar.

Tappa is the oldest and most popular genre of the Pashto poetry, The Tappa is a composition of two unequal meters, in which the first line is shorter than the succeeding one, yet it reflects all human feelings and aspirations elegantly.  These are also part of New Pashto Songs.  It is common among the Pashtun that a boy of school would sing it.
These areas are having a huge audience of New Indian Songs; Indian film industry is biggest film industry in this region. These make films which are very popular in the areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The other most spoken language is Punjabi; Punjabi folk music is the traditional music on the traditional musical instruments of Punjab region. There is a great repertoire of music for the time of birth through the different stages of joy and sorrow till death. The folk music invokes the traditions as well as the hardworking nature, bravery and many more things that the people of Punjab get from its gateway-to-India geographical location.
